Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

FitForge Workout ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Digidi-doo Tmi ("the operator"), of Puolukkakatu 13, 50170 Mikkeli, Finland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Digidi-doo Tmi is a Finnish sole proprietorship (toiminimi), which is not a separate legal person. The controller of your personal data is therefore the natural person behind the trade name: Johanna Räisä, business ID (Y-tunnus) 2862619-5.

2. What this app is

FitForge Workout is a self-hosted fitness tracker. It is free, has no advertising, and contains no analytics, tracking or third-party scripts. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising of any kind.

3. What we collect, and why

3.1 Account data — provided by you

When you register, the app stores the following in a database, against your username:

Username	Identifies your account. Also used as the database key that keeps your own records separate from everyone else's.
Email address	Your identifier for the account and for security notices. The app never sends you an email — see section 4.
Password	Stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash (10 salt rounds). Your plain-text password is never written to disk or transmitted after you submit it.
Full name (optional)	Shown in your profile. Leave it blank if you prefer.
Body weight (optional)	Used to scale the training loads the app generates. Stored in kilograms regardless of the unit you typed. Left unset, the app uses a default range instead.
Experience level	Begins as beginner. Used to scale generated loads.
Preferences: weight unit, distance unit, first day of week, time format, date format, language	Display settings you choose. Changeable at any time in your profile.
Account created, last login, and last-updated timestamps	Account administration and security.

We deliberately do not ask for, infer or store your sex or gender. It is not needed to calculate training loads, and it is not a sensitive category of data in this context.

3.2 Training data — created by you

When you generate a plan or log a workout, the app stores it against your username so it can show your history and progress:

• Workout plans: the plan name, its scheduled days, the exercises in each day, the dates you set, and the plan's generation settings.
• Workouts: the name, date and times, the exercises performed, and for each set the weight, repetitions or duration, and whether it was completed.
• A link between a workout and the plan day it came from, so plan progress can be shown.
• Any notes you write on a workout.

This is health-adjacent information. Body weight and training logs describe your physical activity. We treat it as confidential, restrict access to it as described in section 6, and never publish or share it.

3.3 Technical data

When a request reaches the server, its originating IP address is used in memory to apply a rate limit of 100 requests per 15 minutes, so that the app is not overwhelmed or abused. That limit is applied per client address and is not written to the database. No IP addresses are stored persistently by the app, and no IP addresses appear in the app's own output.

3.4 Data held only in your browser

Some things never leave your device. They are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies:

• auth_token — your sign-in token. It expires automatically after 7 days.
• auth_user — a cached copy of your own profile, so the app can render it without asking the server first.
• ironforge-language — your chosen language.

Clearing your browser's site data removes all three, and you will simply be asked to sign in again. The app sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics cookies.

4. We never send you an email

There is no email sending in the app at all — no verification, no password reset, no newsletter. Your email address exists so an account can be identified and so a security notice could be given to you. This also means that if you forget your password, you cannot reset it yourself; see section 9.

5. Legal bases for processing (GDPR Article 6)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Training loads are calculated by a formula from the bodyweight and experience level you supply; the result is a suggestion shown to you, and it is entirely yours to modify.

6. Who else can see your data, and where it is stored

Data is stored using Microsoft Azure Table Storage. We use infrastructure providers that process personal data only on our instructions:

Your data is stored in Azure's Sweden region, which is inside the European Economic Area, and the CDN is an EU company. We do not transfer your personal data outside the EEA.

No data is sold, rented or traded. No data is shared with advertisers, because there are none.

7. How long we keep it

• Account and training data: for as long as your account exists. There is no automatic deletion or archiving.
• Sign-in tokens: 7 days, then they expire. They are not stored server-side.
• Rate-limit counters: held in server memory for the length of the 15-minute window, then discarded.

8. Keeping it secure

• Passwords are one-way bcrypt hashes, never stored or logged in readable form.
• Sign-in tokens expire after 7 days.
• The API rejects requests from browser origins that are not on an explicit allow-list.
• Security headers are set on every response.
• Requests are rate-limited per client address.
• Your data is addressed by your username, and the API checks that a request for a workout or plan belongs to the signed-in user before returning it — one user cannot read another's records.
• The app does not ask for, store or process card details, and there is no payment functionality.

9. Your rights (GDPR Articles 15–21)

You have the right to:

• Access — see what we hold about you. Your profile page shows your account data, your workout history and your plans in full.
• Rectification — correct anything inaccurate. Your name, preferences, bodyweight and experience level are all editable in your profile.
• Erasure — delete your account and everything in it yourself, from the Delete account section of your profile page. It asks you to confirm with your password, and it removes the account together with every workout and plan stored with it. This cannot be undone, and there is no backup we can restore from. If you would rather ask us to do it, email johanna.raisa@nopeatverkkosivut.fi.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format. Your workouts can be exported from the app; for everything, ask by email and we will provide it.
• Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, i.e. the rate limiting.
• Withdraw consent, where consent is the basis — not applicable here, since we rely on contract and legitimate interests.
• Complain — to a supervisory authority. In Finland this is Tietosuojavaltuutettava (the Data Protection Ombudsman).

Deleting your account yourself is immediate and free. We do not charge for handling a request either, and we aim to answer any you email within one month.

10. Children

The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

We keep your personal data inside the European Economic Area: it is stored in Azure's Sweden region and served by an EU-based CDN. We do not transfer it to the United States or anywhere else outside the EEA.

Microsoft is a US-headquartered company, so its processing is governed by Microsoft's own Data Processing Addendum, which includes the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for any access from outside the EEA. The EEA location of the storage region is what keeps your data in the EEA in the first place.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means the updated policy applies to you.

FitForge Workoutia ("sovellus", "me") ylläpitää Digidi-doo Tmi ("ylläpitäjä"), osoitteessa Puolukkakatu 13, 50170 Mikkeli, Suomi. Olemme tässä politiikassa kuvattujen henkilötietojen käsittelijä.

Digidi-doo Tmi on suomalainen toiminimi, joka ei ole oma oikeushenkilö. Henkilötietojesi käsittelijä on siksi toiminimen takana oleva luonnollinen henkilö: Johanna Räisä, Y-tunnus 2862619-5.

2. Mikä sovellus on

FitForge Workout on itse ylläpidettävä kuntoilusovellus. Se on maksuton, eikä siinä ole mainoksia, seurantaa eikä kolmansien osapuolten skriptejä. Emme myy tietojasi emmekä käytä niitä mainontaan.

3. Mitä keräämme ja miksi

3.1 Tilitiedot — antamasi tiedot

Rekisteröityessä sovellus tallettaa seuraavat tiedot tietokantaan käyttäjänimesi alle:

Käyttäjätunnus	Yksilöi tilin. Toimii myös tietokannan avaimena, joka erottaa omat tietosi muiden tiedoista.
Sähköpostiosoite	Tilin tunniste ja turvallisuusilmoitusten kohde. Sovellus ei koskaan lähetä sinulle sähköpostia — katso kohta 4.
Salasana	Tallennetaan vain yksisuuntaisena bcrypt-hashina (10 suolaruutta). Salasanaa ei tallenneta levylle eikä lähetetä eteenpäin.
Koko nimi (valinnainen)	Näytetään profiilissa. Voit jättää sen tyhjäksi.
Kehonpaino (valinnainen)	Säätää sovelluksen generoimia kuormituksia. Tallennetaan kiloina riippumatta syötetystä yksiköstä. Jos jätät pois, sovellus käyttää oletusväliä.
Kokemustaso	Aloittaa arvosta aloittelija. Säätää generoituja kuormituksia.
Asetukset: painoyksikkö, matkayksikkö, viikon ensimmäinen päivä, aikamuoto, päivämäärämuoto, kieli	Valitsemasi näyttöasetukset. Muutettavissa milloin tahansa profiilissa.
Tilin luonti-, viimeisin kirjautuminen ja päivitysaika	Tilin ylläpito ja turvallisuus.

Emme tarkoituksella kysy, päättele emmekä tallenna sukupuolta tai sukupuolen identiteettiä. Sitä ei tarvita laskemaan kuormituksia, eikä se ole tässä yhteydessä sensitiivinen tietoryhmä.

3.2 Harjoittelutiedot — itse luomasi

Kun luot suunnitelman tai kirjaat treenin, sovellus tallettaa sen käyttäjänimesi alle, jotta historia ja edistyminen näkyvät:

• Suunnitelmat: suunnitelman nimi, sen ajastetut päivät, kunkin päivän liikkeet, asettamasi päivämäärät ja suunnitelman generointiasetukset.
• Treenit: nimi, päivämäärä ja kellonajat, tehdyt liikkeet sekä settien paino, toistomäärä tai kesto ja se, oliko setti valmis.
• Yhteys treenin ja sen suunnitelmapäivän välillä, jotta suunnitelman edistyminen voidaan näyttää.
• Mahdolliset muistiinpanot, jotka kirjoitat treeniin.

Tämä on terveyteen liittyvää tietoa. Kehonpaino ja treenitiedot kertovat fyysisestä aktiivisuudestasi. Käsittelemme sitä luottamuksellisesti, rajoitamme pääsyn kuten kohdassa 6 kuvataan, emmekä koskaan julkaise tai jaa sitä.

3.3 Tekniset tiedot

Palvelimelle saapuvan pyynnön lähtevää IP-osoitetta käytetään muistissa nopeusrajoitukseen (100 pyyntöä 15 minuutissa), jotta sovellusta ei ylikuormiteta eikä väärinkäytetä. Rajoitus koskee yksittäistä asiakasosoitetta, eikä osoitetta tallenneta tietokantaan. Sovellus ei tallenna IP-osoitteita pysyvästi eikä ne näy sovelluksen omassa tulostuksessa.

3.4 Vain selaimessa säilytettävät tiedot

Osa tiedoista ei koskaan poistu laitteeltasi. Ne säilytetään selaimen paikallisessa tallennuksessa, ei evästeissä:

• auth_token — kirjautumistunnus. Vanhenee automaattisesti 7 päivässä.
• auth_user — välimuistiin tallennettu kopio omasta profiilistasi, jotta sovellus voi näyttää sen pyytämättä ensin palvelimelta.
• ironforge-language — valitsemasi kieli.

Selaimen sivustotietojen tyhjentäminen poistaa kaikki kolme, ja sinulta kysytään yksinkertaisesti kirjautumista uudelleen. Sovellus ei aseta evästeitä eikä käytä mainonta- tai analytiikkaevästeitä.

4. Emme koskaan lähetä sinulle sähköpostia

Sovellukseen ei kuulu lainkaan sähköpostin lähetystä — ei vahvistusta, ei salasanan palautusta, ei uutiskirjettä. Sähköpostiosoitteesi on olemassa, jotta tili voidaan tunnistaa ja jotta turvallisuusilmoitus voidaan antaa. Tämä tarkoittaa myös, että jos unohdat salasanasi, et voi palauttaa sitä itse; katso kohta 9.

5. Käsittelyn oikeusperusteet (GDPR 6 artikla)

Käyttötarkoitus	Oikeusperuste
Tilin luominen ja käyttäminen, treenien ja suunnitelmien tallentaminen sekä historian näyttäminen	Sopimuksen täytäminen (6(1)(b) art.) — välttämätöntä palvelemaan sovellus, jolle rekisteröidyit.

Emme käytä tietojasi automaattiseen päätöksentekoon, jolla olisi oikeudellisia tai vastaavankaltaisia merkittäviä vaikutuksia. Kuormitukset lasketaan kaavalla antamastasi kehonpainosta ja kokemustasosta; tulos on sinulle näytettävä ehdotus, jonka voit muuttaa vapaasti.

6. Kuka muu näkee tietosi ja missä ne säilytetään

Tiedot tallennetaan Microsoft Azuren Table Storage -palveluun. Käytämme infrastruktuuripalveluita, jotka käsittelevät henkilötietoja ainoastaan ohjeidemme mukaisesti:

Tietosi tallennetaan Azuren Ruotsi-alueelle, joka kuuluu Euroopan talousalueeseen, ja sisältö jaetaan EU-yhtiön palvelimelta. Emme siirrä henkilötietojasi Euroopan talousalueen ulkopuolelle.

Tietoja ei myydä, vuokrata eikä vaihdeta. Tietoja ei jaeta mainostajille, koska mainostajia ei ole.

7. Kuinka kauan säilytämme tiedot

• Tili- ja harjoittelutiedot: niin kauan kuin tilisi on olemassa. Automaattista poistamista tai arkistointia ei ole.
• Kirjautumistunnukset: 7 päivää, sitten ne vanhenevat. Niitä ei tallenneta palvelimelle.
• Rajoituslaskurit: pidetään palvelimen muistissa 15 minuutin ikkunana, sitten hylätään.

8. Tietojen turvaaminen

• Salasanat tallennetaan yksisuuntaisina bcrypt-hashina, eikä niitä tallenneta tai kirjata luettavassa muodossa.
• Kirjautumistunnukset vanhenevat 7 päivän kuluttua.
• API hylkää pyynnät, joiden selaimen alkuperä ei ole erikseen sallitussa luettelossa.
• Turvallisuusotsakkeet asetetaan jokaiseen vastaukseen.
• Pyynnöitä rajoitetaan asiakasosoitteen mukaan.
• Tietosi on osoitettu käyttäjänimellä, ja API tarkistaa ennen palauttamista, että treeni- tai suunnitelmapyyntö kuuluu kirjautuneelle käyttäjälle — kukaan käyttäjä ei voi lukea toisen tietoja.
• Sovellus ei kysy eikä käsittele maksukorttitietoja, eikä siinä ole maksutoimintoja.

9. Oikeutesi (GDPR 15–21 artikla)

Sinulla on oikeus:

• saada tietoja siitä, mitä käsittelemme. Profiilisivusi näyttää tilitiedot, treenihistoriasi ja suunnitelmasi täydessä laajuudessaan.
• oikaista epätarkkoja tietoja. Nimesi, asetukset, kehonpainosi ja kokemustasosi ovat kaikki muokattavissa profiilissa.
• vaatia tietojen poistamisen eli poistaa tilisi ja kaiken sen sisällön itse profiilisivun Poista tili -osasta. Vahvistus tehdään salasanalla, ja poisto poistaa tilin sekä kaikki sen mukana tallennetut treenit ja suunnitelmat. Toimintoa ei voi peruuttaa, eikä meillä ole varmuuskopiota, josta palauttaa. Jos haluat pyytää meiltä poiston, lähetä sähköpostia osoitteeseen johanna.raisa@nopeatverkkosivut.fi.
• saada tiedot siirrettävässä muodossa. Treenejä voi viedä sovelluksesta; kaiken saamiseksi pyydä sähköpostilla, ja toimitamme sen.
• rajoittaa käsittelyä riidan selvittämisen ajaksi.
• vastustaa käsittelyä, kun perusteena on oikeutettu etu, eli nopeusrajoitusta.
• peruuttaa suostumuksen, kun perusteena on suostumus — ei koske tätä, koska perusteina ovat sopimus ja oikeutettu etu.
• tehdä valitus valvontaviranomaiselle. Suomessa tämä on Tietosuojavaltuutettava.

Tilin poistaminen itse on välitöntä ja maksutonta. Emme peri maksua myöskään pyynnön käsittelystä, ja vastaamme sähköpostilla tulleisiin pyyntöihin mielellään kuukauden kuluessa.

10. Lapset

Sovellus ei ole suunnattu lapsille, emmekä tietäenemme kerää tietoja alle 13-vuotiailta (tai maasi digitaaliseen suostumukseen asetettua vähimmäisikää). Jos epäilet, että lapsi on luonut tilin, ota yhteyttä niin poistamme sen.

11. Kansainväliset siirrot

Pidämme henkilötietosi Euroopan talousalueen sisällä: ne tallennetaan Azuren Ruotsi-alueelle ja jaetaan EU:ssa toimivalta palvelimelta. Emme siirrä niitä Yhdysvaltoihin emmekä mihinkään muualle Euroopan talousalueen ulkopuolelle.

Microsoft on Yhdysvaltain päässä oleva yhtiö, joten sen käsittelyä sitoo Microsoftin oma tietojenkäsittelylisäehto, johon kuuluvat Euroopan komission vakiosopimusehtojen soveltaminen mahdolliseen ETA:n ulkopuoliseen käyttöön. Se, että tallennusalue sijaitsee ETA:ssa, on se tekijä, joka ensinnäkin pitää tietosi ETA:ssa.

12. Tämän politiikan muutokset

Jos politiikkaa muutetaan olennaisesti, päivitämme sivun ylälaidassa olevan päivämäärän. Käyttämällä sovellusta muutoksen jälkeen uusi politiikka koskee sinua.
